Sell your cards
Have a collection sitting in a binder, cupboard or storage box?
Whether you’re stepping away from the hobby, consolidating your collection, or just freeing up funds for your next deck — I buy trading card collections across the UK.
Here is a summary of exactly how it works and I have full buying terms and conditions too.
Step 1 — Tell Me What You’ve Got
The more detail you can provide, the faster and more accurate the quote.
You can send:
- A spreadsheet or card list (ideally a CSV from scanning your cards via the Manabox app - this is the quickest way of getting a quote).
- Clear photos of pages or higher value cards.
- A rough breakdown (game, era, condition, approximate value)
If your cards are generally worth £0.50+ market value, that’s especially helpful — that’s the main range I sell as (I worked out!) it's not worth the time to package orders worth less than that.
Not sure what you’ve got? Send what you can. I’ll guide you from there.
Step 2 — How I Value Collections
This is the part most people care about and I don’t pull numbers out of thin air or try to fob you off with a low valuation.
I provide transparent and accurate valuations which are based on:
- Current market averages
- Real recent sold prices
- Condition
- How quickly cards typically sell
- Marketplace fees and tax obligations (where applicable)
- Processing and sorting time
If your collection has a Cardmarket average of £2,800, that is not what a buyer can pay and stay in business. Retail value and buying value are different things.
I price fairly and sustainably. That means:
- No 'ridiculous low offer' tactics
- No artificial “today only” pressure
- No bait-and-switch once cards arrive
If you’d like a breakdown of how your offer was calculated, I’m happy to explain it.
Step 3 — Offer Options
Where possible, you’ll receive:
- A cash offer
- A higher trade credit offer (if you'd prefer sealed product or singles)
There is no obligation to accept. Take your time, ask questions and compare options.
Step 4 — Sending Your Cards
If you accept the offer:
- Cards must be packaged securely.
- Use a tracked service as you are responsible for ensuring they get to me safely.
- For higher value collections over £2000 I am happy to pay shipping costs.
For larger collections, we can discuss logistics in advance. I'm happy to travel to meet in person for larger or higher value collections or cards.
Once the cards arrive, I check they match the agreed condition.
If everything aligns, we move to payment.
If anything significant differs, I’ll contact you before proceeding with an updated offer. If you don't want to accept any new offer then I'll send you the cards back.
Step 5 — Payment
Payment is sent via bank transfer.
Usually within 1–2 working days of receipt and confirmation.

Why Sell To Me?
I’m not a faceless warehouse or automated buylist. I started collecting at school and have a collection ranging for pauper decks to Power 9 cards. I’ve run a WPN local game store and I’m a player and collector first.
That means:
- I understand the emotional value of collections
- I won’t dismiss your cards
- I won’t rush you
- I care about long-term reputation over short-term margins
- I can make fair offers which respect you (and your cards!) and I can still run a small business.
Sellers come back later when they’re ready to sell more of their collection. That tells me I’m doing it right.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you buy entire collections?
Yes. In fact, that’s preferred.
Do you buy just a few cards?
Sometimes, depending on value and demand.
Do I have to accept your offer?
No. Quotes are free and without obligation.
How long does the process take?
Most valuations are completed within a few days depending on size.
Do you buy from companies or just private individuals?
I only buy from private individuals and the cards need to be theirs to sell.
